Helen is CEO of General Storage Company (Lock+Store Singapore and Malaysia, and The Store House Hong Kong). A self-storage opinion leader who is effectively bilingual, Helen has been quoted and featured extensively in regional print and broadcast media. She was a regular contributor to The Business Times’ “Views from the Top” weekly column in Singapore, and is regularly approached by the regional media for C-suite perspectives. In November 2013, Helen received the Singapore Women's Weekly Great Women of Our Time award in the “Finance and Commerce” category. In April 2016, she was appointed Chair of the Self-Storage Association Asia. For all these efforts, she was given the Executive of the Year - Building Services & Facilities award in the Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2022.
