Prakash Gurumoorthy is the General Manager of VTEX APAC. He is responsible for the APAC regional P&L, Customer Experience, Growth Engineering and Culture. Prakash is a well regarded, award-winning digital leader who took a path less traveled by not sticking to a career in science, technology and engineering for which he trained, but to marketing in a wildly creative, artistic agency that many of the greatest brands in the world picked when they embarked in sweeping digital transformations. Prior to joining VTEX, he built the iconic BORN Group famous for its awards and digital transformation work. TechM with 145,000 employees and $5 B+ in revenues acquired BORN in 2019. Prakash built the global production arm for BORN integrating the 3 specialisms (Creative Services, Content Production and Commerce Enablement) and built the fastest growing and most profitable P&L of the company across many countries in APJ, servicing over 150+ customers/brands, 600 digital transformation programs.
