Ryan Choy, Chief Executive Officer (Faire Leather Co.) Faire Leather Co. is a direct-to-consumer label backed by over 30 years of experience. Faire taps traditional know-how along with customer feedback to create stylish products designed for maximum function - providing Functional Luxury that takes you through Monday to Sunday, 365 days a year. Born out of Kickstarter in Nov 2017, Faire raised over $406,000 and became the most funded fashion Kickstarter in Singapore out of over 700 campaigns - going on to hit their 2 year target of $1,000,000 in under 10 months. Previously serving as Head of Brand and Marketing, Ryan took over as CEO earlier this year from Joseph Lor. The prominent change marks a major conceptual and directorial shift for the brand’s future, with upcoming plans to grow Faire as a lifestyle brand. Ryan is also responsible for consumer engagement and being mindful and sensitive to consumer feedback to translate them into market insights and developments for the brand. As the newly-appointed CEO, Ryan will oversee Faire Leather Co.’s progressive evolution as a lifestyle company and the revamp of their website. He will lead the recently expanded team and push for greater content, more strategic partnerships and synergistic campaigns to strengthen Faire’s brand positioning. He is also the head of branding and marketing over at affiliate brand Tocco Toscano and has successfully spearheaded launches such as Tocco Toscano’s "Aimee Tote Series", raising awareness for Autism with the Art Faculty via TAF Edition, their most recent collaboration with Singapore Airlines as well as being the first brand in Singapore to launch an Apple Leather Collection. Prior to his current roles, he was an account executive in the advertising industry, later moving into strategic marketing and business development roles in various industries including the Head of Marketing at Quandoo SG, a global restaurant reservations platform, where he oversaw the brand’s local marketing efforts.
