Sandeep is currently Heading Affiliate Business (User Growth) for Southeast Asia for Alibaba Group's Lazada, leading Strategy, Marketing, BD and community building teams across Southeast Asia. He held the role of Head of Direct to Consumer business for South East Asia for an OTT video streaming service HOOQ, handling User Growth and P&L for the vertical, a Singtel subsidiary, which within 5 years of operations achieved a leadership position in the region with 100+ million subscribers in spite of heavy competition from key players like Netflix, Youtube & other OTT players. HOOQ's platform was sold to Coupang, Korea's largest e-commerce company. Sandeep previously worked in the Launch team of Amazon India - Handled Marketing & BD for launching and scaling Amazon.in focussing on Media & Gaming categories (Movies, TV shows, Music, Video Games & Books). Amazon committed $5 Billion USD for India launch & grew to 300M unique monthly visitors in 3 years. He was among the founding team of iPrice Group (e-commerce affiliate portal) - Handled Marketing/BD and execution for 7 Southeast Asian markets.
