Eric Rosenthal is the Chief Strategy Officer at Rapyd, the leading Fintech as a Service partner. With a background that spans major financial institutions and innovative startups, Eric is a renowned expert in international finance and global payments. He has been a featured speaker at prominent events such as the Global E-Commerce Leadership Forum, Know Identity, and SubSummit and is regarded as a global expert on the intersection of global payments and fintech, regional fintech trends disrupting legacy businesses, fintech as a service versus bank as a service, and the future of payments for lenders.
Before joining Rapyd, Eric served as the Vice President of Business Development at Abra, a cryptocurrency investment company. There, he played a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for international expansion, architectural development, and the establishment of a global payment network. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Eric held positions at First Data and Citigroup, where he worked on corporate development and venture investing initiatives. He also gained valuable experience as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., advising Fortune 500 companies and other entities on innovation, payments, and strategy. He currently serves on the advisory boards of Silicon Foundry, Gerson Lehrman Group, and Peotic Technologies, where he contributes his expertise in emerging payments, innovation, and markets.
