Flore Chiang is a Principal Engineer in UL Solutions and has 23 years of experience in the field of product compliance and safety. His areas of expertise include certification schemes/programs, hazard-based safety engineering, standard development process, lithium-ion battery failure mechanism/safety, data centre HVDC power architecture, liquid cooling of the AI/ML workloads and prefabricated modular design of data centres. He is a recipient of the IEC 1906 Award in 2024 and an invited speaker at the OECD Workshop on Digital Technologies & Product Safety.
