Co-founder & CTO of Singdata. Former Researcher|Senior Director of Alibaba Cloud, head of Alibaba’s general-purpose computing platform externally known as MaxCompute and DataWorks. Before Alibaba Cloud, he worked 9 years at Microsoft building large-scale distributed systems, including Cosmos/Scope and first-gen Azure Data Lake. With 17 years of experience in distributed systems and data platforms, he received the Best Paper Award at USENIX ATC 2021.
