Panel - STDCT 2.0 - AI-Native, Low-Carbon Data Centres: From Testbed to Replicable Playbooks

09 Oct 2025
Efficiency & Sustainability Theatre

AI-era rack density going up to 600 kW or even 1 MW forces a reimagination of the full stack: two-phase liquid cooling, low-water heat rejection, DC/AC power choices, and AI-native controls. This panel distils field results from an open, vendor-neutral testbed into replicable playbooks backed by auditable KPIs - PUE/WUE, thermal reliability, and carbon intensity. The panel will discuss distributed/zonal cooling, show how high-temperature liquid returns unlock practical waste heat reuse and lower WUE, enable green energies integration and outline AI dynamic smart control for orchestrating workloads, energy energies and cooling, i.e. carbon-aware computing. Finally, we translate technical wins into bankable data for investors and operators - what logs, warranties, and M&V templates actually de-risk deployment. Attendees leave with a short list of “do-first” design moves, an interoperability checklist, and a metrics pack they can apply on Monday.
